Immunoradiometric assay kit for the in vitro quantitative measurement of human Growth Hormone (hGH) in urine. The Urinary-hGH-IRMA is an immunoradiometric assay based on coated-bead separation. Mab1, the capture antibodies, are attached to the plastic beads. Calibrators, controls and samples are first incubated with the beads to extract the hGH. After incubation, washing removes the occasionally excess of antigen. Addition of Mab2, the signal antibody labelled with 125I, will complete the system and trigger the immunological reaction. After washing, the remaining radioactivity bound to the beads reflects the antigen concentration.
